Egypt March 06

I was in Egypt with my father's family from the 23rd to the 30th of March 2006. We stayed in Luxor for 3 days visiting the Karnac and Luxor Temples as well as the Valley of the Kings and Queen Hatshepsut Mortuary Temple. We took a couple of boat excursions on the Nile and enjoyed a two hour long camel ride through the back streets of Luxor (I can assert that taking good shots is not easy when riding a camel- they should breed them with a “stabilizer” option!!) we then took an army-escorted convoy to Hurghada where we enjoyed the Sun- Yacht trip on the Red sea, 4 x 4 excurtion in the desert, scuba-diving etc…

Egypt is where I took my first photographic steps- the first time I used my SLR…so here are my photographic “debuts”… I hope you enjoy them (I feel this gallery is the most beautiful…beginner’s luck!)
